Golf Day Terms & Conditions
General
- All teams must be registered and paid in full by team captain no later than entry close date on Friday 15h May 2009
- All entry fee payment made either by credit card or cheque will be given a receipt made out to company at the registration table before tee off time. Team captains that registered the team must collect this from registration officer.
- All credit card details provided will be kept private and will be in conformance with our YMCA personal privacy and security policies.
Food & Beverage
- No food, soft drinks or alcohol will be permitted on the course unless purchased from the club house or catering buggies.
Cancellation Policy
- The course will be declared closed by Club Management if it is considered unplayable due to adverse weather or other reasons.
- If the course is declared closed due to bad weather once tournament play has commenced, the tournament will be cancelled with no refund.
- In the event of rain or cancellation of the tournament a reserve date will be assigned. This date will be advised and subject to course availability and bookings.
- If a team or company has paid in full and cannot attend on the day for any given reason, a no refund or cancellation policy will apply.
Advertising Banners & Corporate Signage
- Advertising banners and signs that the Golf Day Organizer would like to place on the
course or clubhouse must have prior approval from the Club Management. - Gailes Golf Club will erect approved banners for the golf event.
- Banners and signs must be received by the Club no later than 72 hours before the event.
If the banners are not received 72 hours in advance of the event, the Club cannot
guarantee that they will be erected in time for the event. - Gailes Golf Club is not responsible or liable for loss or damage to any banners.
Dress Code
Please ensure your guests are advised in advance of the following dress regulations, as players will be refused to play if incorrectly dressed. The dress code is as follows
- Tailored pants or shorts
- Men must wear a collared shirt, tucked in.
- Denim jeans or denim shorts are not permitted.
- Board shorts, football shorts, football socks are not permitted
- Soft spikes shoes are preferred
General Rules
- Each player must have their own set of golf clubs. Left and right handed hire clubs are available for rental.
- Practice on golf course before play is not permitted.
- All men must play from the blue tee and the ladies from the red.
- All players must accept the instructions and directions of the Tournament Director.
- The person who has signed for the golf buggie willl be fully responsible for any damage to the Club’s property, inclusive of golf cart damage caused by participants.
- Gailes Golf Club accepts no responsibility for loss of personal effects left on the course, in the changing rooms or any other parts of the Club.
- Gailes Golf Golf Club is not responsible or liable for any injuries, accidents or fatalities that arise on the golf course, clubhouse or any part of the Club.
