Our Future Plans

Y-Care purchased over 5200sqm of land in Mary Street Kingston in 2006 and in 2010 constructed a purpose build facility, The Clem Jones Campus.

The campus  provides facilities for the YMCA School Breakfast Program, YMCA Vocational School and Logan YMCA. The Campus provides an educational alternative for young people unable to  cope with mainstream schooling, 'at risk' young people, job seekers, new Australians and migrants to learn or upgrade their skills, personal development, literacy and work preparation programs are also offered. All of these programs aim to provide opportunity to gain skills and an education essential for gaining meaningful employment.

It is intended to expand the campus in 2012 by constructing an enclosed basketball court multipurpose hall with additional toilets and store rooms. This will provide all participants and students of the Campus with the opportunity for involved in healthy recreational pursuits. This Campus also incorporates a small warehouse to provide storage for food distribution to schools and organisations throughout the Logan areas.
